a church
camping in the woods
foxholes on the front
ships upon the sea
where the candle
whispers in smoke
upon the air
to hear the silence
in homage
listless the POW
forgotten the MIA
except by a candle
which only whispers
in the silence of smoke
on this the Sabbath Day.
