the Winter's Finally Here"

As I have silver in my hair
and a softer glow in my eye
I'd like to think more fair
I've been in matters of a sigh;
To have understood in youth
the massive power of love
its overwhelming spirit of truth
which is a blessing from above;
But the Winter is here
and all I've left to do is share
for you the whispers to hear
about love and for others to care;
If I had my child(ren) to raise over again
I know now where I'd go to first
it would be the Winter to begin
from snowy rivers to quench their thirst;
Then to the Spring, Summer and Fall
all to love them within me so much
more than I can ever now recall
so they would recognize the Master's touch!
