lost thoughts forever
wondering
why we’re able to do
seeing
what has been long ago
feeling
the constant fire surround
hearing
the screams of brothers
knowing
the grief of our sisters
each
giving all in each mission
leaving
nothing left to present
honoring
the freedom’s known
sharing
in God’s majestic law
unashamed
to be found crying
while
defending truth and right
our
nation once shown bright
now in
shadows left sighing
feeling
the ever deepening fall
seeking
others the vision shown
hoping
as Paul called us to repent
this
will be America’s fruition
children’s
prayers in whispers
helping
now to enjoin others
honor,
valor, virtue to be found
that
honesty of all each will know
wondering
if we’re able to be true
this
wickedness thus to sever!)
