Without understanding the cost
believing the worldly rhetoric
traded agency for acceptance
sacrificing the eternal for the now
animals marking territory always
leaving sign for others to sniff
attacking the humble and meek
abusing the righteous as in heat
un-understanding their decisions
taking instead the easiest path
being told it really doesn’t matter
believing knowing it not true
worldly rhetoric embracing
failing to figure the cost!
