With a swelling heart
piercing
pounding to cadences
softly
remembering oh so
much awe
holding fast to the
eternal dream
days, months, years
going by
yet only yesterday,
today seen
tomorrows are there
somewhere
amid the joy,
sadness, tears, love
wherein my thoughts
return all
seeking warmth and
surrender
each day as if always
today!
