“More Friends”

Passing through the
past/present
old friends and
thought forgotten
having long ago said
goodbyes
knowing we’d likely
never meet
yet today some came
forward
passing by so close
yet so far
as if wondering why I
delayed
pondering this
question often
knowing precious time
to use
as more friends await
to greet!
