So much horror in the world

wishing it would just stop

while only weeks or days ago

sometimes maybe even a year

joyfully we felt immune from it

today we pray for intervention

the Sabbath Day kneeling now

but will we hesitate to listen

or just go on in our lives to play

water skiing – sporting events

attending if we will our church

then forgetting those in need

resting only for the moment

then shopping and or a movie

asking intervention from the Lord

while ignoring His day for ours!
