wars gone
WWI – WWII – Korea
and others
killing sisters,
families, brothers
children paying
another’s price
indulgence of power
unleashed
declaring their
rights over the many
deciding who should
live and die
much like governments
this day
pretending above the
law to be
yet coming back into
the past
going back even
further to know
wherein men/women
careless
in their lusts and
indulgences!
