So much
happiness and love
tender stories
of sacrifice
having
left home far away
traveled
with a future hope
sharing
tasks and a mission
within a
new land of promise
somewhere
between enemies
becoming
the buffer state
allied
with the natives there
histories
going back to 1500BC
thus
accepting our intrusion
now
called our home today!
