Depending on who and
when
centuries of death to
witness
some in war or in
plagues too
illness and sickness
with luck
falling into the
swamps depth
over bitten by the
mosquitoes
trapped by the
Indians wise
others the Spanish
captured
put to the knife
without trial
did I see them
yesterday too
depending on who and
when
all have passed my
eyes!
