(Prelude:
Walking streets from long ago
where great men/women
imprinted our history once
freedom, work, understanding
yes they were human too
making mistakes and errors
living in their world not ours
some were very good
others were very bad
yet together they were
the crib of greatness today
coming forth from the womb
yet there were others too
those who lived in shadows
providing necessities to all
the blacksmith – the baker
the tinsmith – the store keeper
the footman – the innkeeper
therefore the thoughts flow
walking streets from long ago!)
