Never
know quite when
a child
and then no longer
yet the
mind staying young
gathering
knowledge sure
then in adolescence
found
sure
footed and awkward
immortal
and on the edge
quickly
too old to be young
working
raising a family
sometimes
to be all alone
hearing
the pulses worldly
gradually
maturing older
till
again to be forever young
not
understanding till death
knowing
only of eternal life
the Plan
of Salvation known
a child
of God is forever
knowing
of this is eternal!
