Wars never starting or ending
just a continuation of greed
wanting what another possesses
taking by force of arms as can
blaming the economy or apathy
enslaving nations and individuals
some condemned to life maimed
others dying in the field escaping
still others now without feelings
unknowing what to believe
thus without caring continuing
wantonly to riot and incite
feeding the power-brokers
playing winner take all stakes
betting the fodder of others
unending warfare of the worldly!
