“Rising Flames”

Each morning the
Smithy
stokes up the flames
again
having carefully
banked
the flames the night
before;
Understanding the
worth
hardening steel sharp
setting the
temperature
creating proper
conditions;
Hammering with
precision
bringing unto steel
an edge
creating the finest
around
capable of any need;
Ignoring shortcuts
false
knowing only one way
tried, tested and
true
enabling only the
best;
Rising flames to heat
over and over each
day
years into decades
time
staying a proper
course;
Thus is found the
Prophets
tried, tested and
proven
rehearsing the Word
of God
quick and powerful
always;
No shortcuts ever
taken
Obedience to
Commandments
nothing wavering
forever
discerner of eternal
truths;
Like the Smithy each
day
teaching and warning
errors of omission’s
loss
apprentices all to
hear;
Yet some ignore or
sleep
other things of the
world
engaging their
thoughts
smarter than the
Master;
Rising flames to the
fire
causing a refining
test
or possibly a
torturing
depending on our
choices;
Obedient to the
Prophets
taking no shortcuts
today
knowing the path
straight
to Zion or Babylon
for us!

and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is
a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.
