“Bearing the Pain”

He went into the garden willingly
knowing Father’s will to be done
bearing the pain of all our sins
able to withstand what we cannot
yet today we need to endure well
bearing the pain of the unrighteous
feeling the hurt when others curse
taking the Lord’s name in vain
or abusing the Sabbath Day again
an evil world in which we live today
which our Savior did bear the pain!
