North Africa
then into the
Mediterranean area
Sicily – Italy –
Greece – to fight
while France begging
us to come
having learned in his
experience
Sir Winston played
for the delay
not sending men to
their death
as once before in the
great war
but this time
hardened troops
understanding the
discipline
found in the
preparation had
before landing on
France’s shores
beaches to be filled
with blood!
