Sabbath days come and go
many stuck in the sameness
harkening to some truths
ignoring many, many more;

Thus in our lives to store
which we call our truths
even those found nameless
pretending all things to know;

But Jeremiah* taught it best
prophesizing the last days
while many will be taught
many will reject the calling;

Instead their lives stalling
in the worldly so caught
finding excuses and delays
never ever taking the test;

“In the last days,
the Lord will gather
the people of Israel,
one from a city
two from a family,
bringing them to Zion;”

Will we be found in Zion
united forever with family
if not it will be a pity
all are branches of Israel**
these the Lord to gather
in the last days-our days!

**Peter and Paul went
to the Gentiles thus
including all upon this Earth!
