“Denied to be Able to
Pray”

Throughout history
we’re reminded
that death was the
sentence of pray
burning at the stake
or even worse
children and women
and men all
bending to cruelty’s
oppression
denied to be able to
pray aloud
even if done so
internally caught
no bended knees in
supplications
even so much as to
shed a tear
everyone living in
anther’s fear
a nation without God
to call upon
throughout the
millennia found
lessons thus
unlearned to partake
much too late before
any awake!
