Many
times seeking quiet words
just the
odds and ends of peace
pretty
flowers and music warm
hearing
children’s laughter happy
a
parents loving voice of prayer
the
birds singing in the bushes
egrets
and herons in flight above
fishes
jumping in the cold streams
to
desire these words of thoughts
has been
a long time in coming
even as
a child writing missing
always
the cold hard reality
a very
hard world and people
seeking
to hurt and harm
taking
what’s not theirs
getting
the government
to take
it for them often
to
desire for the peace
is worthless
without right
and
freedom’s cost blood
of
innocent women/children
the old
and young men
to
desire without action
as is
faith without works!
