"There is a God"

Received this from a person who’s in one of the groups I’m part of, “I do not care for stupidity.  There is no God, get over it.”

My Reply:

Good then we understand each other – There Is A God – he’s called Heavenly Father and his name is Elohim – he has a Son whose name is Jesus Christ. I not only know this – but I’ve a sure witness and understanding. Your belief that there is none is fine as you’ve the agency to believe what you desire – it doesn’t change the truth. There are about 200M-240M people in the world who believe as they do! Indeed of the 7.4B people alive most have some idea of faith in a higher power. Due to the interference of men/women seeking dominion or power over others have distorted – rewritten – or otherwise amended what was and is known about Heavenly Father and the Savior – the Creation of this World – and much of what is left to known of Scriptures are the remnants of what was originally preserved – war – strife – politics – greed – envy – and such. Even today parts and pieces are being discovered hid away by those who wanted the contents to be kept from the public.

I for one am grateful for your service – one of my good friends a Ph.D. – served in WW2 – Korea – Vietnam and believed as you do – that there was no God! On the other hand I had another good friend who’d served in WW1 – WW2 (had his Ph.D. – several of them but served as an Enlisted man) who drove a landing vehicle to Utah Beach – he on the other hand fully believed in Heavenly Father and the Savior. Both of these men were good men – both righteous in their own ways. We never argued – never had disagreements – but we had excellent conversations.

Sadly it would appear that much of the world’s population – who both profess a belief in God – or those who do not – have good reasons! Yet, their doctrines conflict with what they profess to believe. We’ve a world full of contention, confusion, and filled with logismoi and very little of gnosis. Those like Darwin, Thomas Jefferson, Einstein, and many others of the brilliant men and women of the world never professed to of one religion or another – thus they were considered agnostics – not atheists. They belonged to no one church or religion – and the reason was that they could not in their minds accept the confusion – distortion or better the lack of common-sense or logical reasoning. One can read the Creeds of men/women regardless of the various name of their religion or church and make little or no sense. Blind faith is like someone playing Russian roulette with a fully loaded weapon.

Anyway – you’re entitled to what you believe – I’m entitled to what I believe – I would never push my belief on you – and tell you ‘to get over it’ – and therefore I take exception to you telling me the same.

Again thank you for your service – and for standing by your belief system – please allow me to stand by mine.  Chuck Ingerson (USN – 1962-66; USA 1975-85 – till being dead for the 2^nd time and having to retire).

Actually there are many Gods

yet for this world there are two

Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ

Heavenly Father as the Father

of our Spirits in the preexistence

the Savior is God of this world

first verse of the Greek Bible

“in the beginning the Gods”

too many ignore all the truth

disbelieving is a convenience

yet never forget or waver

there is a God of this world

and his Father is our Father!
