How
often we meekly appeal
seeking another
to forgive us
even to
apologize unknowing
ever
trying to please a peer
forgetting
eternal thoughts
abusing
the Commandments
taking
the Lord’s name in vain
cursing
our luck or misfortune
blaming
others excusing self
while
all along thinking okay
forgetting
whom to apologize
while
Father awaits us now
kneeling
in a humble prayer
to
apologize our mortal being
recognizing
the importance
of
obedience to commands
given
for our wellbeing all
to our
Father who loves us
and not
just those around
seeking
the eternal first
and the
worldly last!
