The Sabbath Day today
our Savior’s sacred day
the Father sent him here
He gave his life for us
then took back it again;

Thus where to us begin
where men/women fuss
pretending nothing clear
without body thought today
the Scriptures astray;

Scriptures quite clear
literally understood to be
that all might really know;

The world He did show
everyone did Him see
where none must fear;

Opening one’s eyes
light and knowledge;

Truth to acknowledge
within loving prise’

Think ye of this today
wonder what’s true
the Scriptures or
gathering all within;

Making the veil thin
truth opening a door
revealing eternities view
when we kneel to pray!
