Looking into the heavens
seeking the shade of trees
watching the colored leaves
feeling a cooler new breeze;
Taking a breath of time-out
pausing in awe to reflect all
powerful regeneration to begin
where peace and birds sing;
Feeling the comfort of forever
knowing so much yet to be
into the eternities I now see
all the worldly from me flee!
