How often we hear of gray
neither black nor white
just all the in-betweens
half the measure needed
trying to do or an excuse
lest we forget the Word
unchanging and written
without beginning or end
yet some will just ignore
surely a few stripes only
how bland is the guile
how often we hear of gray!
