Given time without laws
none to protect or share
some showing resistance
left on gallows or posts
shrouds covering some
centuries to be insidious
quickly – neatly hidden
destroyed or so thought
illusions then are taught
only the chosen bidden
the truths now hideous
yet is there more to come
invited within by our hosts
beguiling their insistence
proclaiming for pelf to care
corraded truths now flaws!
