Thinking we finally
found rest
yet worse was the war
for Easy
leaving the peace of
Mourmelon
hoping into open
wagons pulled
trucks taking us
seventy miles
the 501st
PIR going on ahead
but only within
minutes to lose
deployed to Bastogne
in fact
early December of
1944 true
then everything hit
the fan
some might remember
more
Battle of the Bulge
engaged
when we in Easy went
East
deployed to Bastogne
today!
