Just
standing there very short
alone and
inquiring all around
what had
happened so young
cut off
in the prime of maturing
blooms
and beauty to provide
shade
for the hot summers
perches
for the birds to nest
nothing
to come to pass today
for just
a small tree trunk alone
wondering
of the why sadly!
