See there is the broken

seen usually so alone

shabby clothes and shoes

desolation in their eyes

once a person of value

still a child of Father’s

yet most just passing by

hoping not for contact

wondering why this way

forgetting the command

James 1:27 and others

Job talks of this as well

but are we like them

wearing shabby hearts

barren and without inside

much we can do alone

but gathered with others

we can do much more

as sisters and brothers

so no longer to be alone

for this the Savior to Atone!
