“Alive
or Dead”

Knocked
down and beaten maybe
left alone
for dead by natures storm
the
roots broken and cut some too
yet
survival and enduring inbred
whether
in man, woman or beast
same
goes for trees and shrubs
animals
will continue for years
alive or
dead is hard to decide
when a
life is at stake to fight
against odds
- never quitting
for we’ve
a mission to complete
and
until we’ve done our call
the day
will come after night
sometimes
more dead found
but with
still a breath of life!
