and contracts made
but really
just paper cut-outs
words
without promises broken
caring
not for the rules of law
breaking
the hearts of many
others
just throwing aside today
veteran’s
without any recourse
losing
benefits of service owed
while
government praise itself
as with
the Indians of the past
treated
without respect based
agreeing
to terms and conditions
without commitment
severed
dividing
our nation asunder!
