“Tying Up Loose Ends”

Gathering in the four winds of nature

bringing home all of the lost and lonely

finishing the final touches of canvas

securing the lines and sheets for storm

creating redoubts and places of staying

inviting in all of my friends and family

using all as defined in the Scriptures

excluding none in the invitations

tying up loose ends before too late

knowing many will not accept or come

in this life each has to choose for self

while the writing and teachings found

while working in the vineyard/garden

pruning and trimming preparing all

knowing the time is short from today

understanding delay and putting off

whether a hundred years or in tears

we’ve to be tying up loose ends today!
