Trudging many miles and tyrannies

overcoming temptations a plenty

doing the right thing for a right reason

after first doing it for any reason

getting myself and soul on track

repenting for of what I’ve done wrong

forgiving all those I’ve held a grudge

taking my weary soul to the tasks

adding the salt to my wounds

cleaning amid the stinging pain

becoming an instrument of use

accepting Father’s will to be done

accepting Father’s will to be done!
