Littering
the country sides
cement old
and decaying
moss
grown or weeds close
where
men lived and died
one
shooting out – others in
no mercy
– no quarter given
war and
terror intertwined
embracing
the death of many
thoughts
never to think
epics
never to write/tell
children
never to raise
just
lonely desolate boxes
left
from a history alone
seen
today as spectators
nothing more
or less!
