Deep within is the person

nothing on the surface seen

internal value of the heart

clothes matter not at all

smiles – guiles – external

nothing natural to define

as a child of God known

it’s internal value shown

a heritage found divine

everything lovely eternal

each Sabbath Day to call

seeing if we’ll do our part

much knowledge to glean

deep within is the person!
