Having served his nation

WWII and all that hell

then as a leader fully

the American Legion

the VFW and so much

helping others to cope

returning from the hell

terror filled nightmares

with wise understanding

many years of oft tears

comforting widows/friends

now we for Tony pray

rest in peace our brother

time for you to sleep

hands holding hands

us letting now go

others grasping his!
