the task
never to
waver or shirk
becoming
bent with age
stubs of
hands labored
embraced
in hard work
dawn to
night fall always
finding
sleep a comfort
loving
family and home
laboring
honestly in duty
always
to be counted on
unlike
the sloth of today
pansied
and entitled weak
playing
idle games for pelf
voting
for their slavers
politicians,
teachers some
how many
in our nation
living
off the gnarled hands
of those
willing to sacrifice
never to
waver or shirk
bending
always to the task!
