Death”

High in
the mountains found
beautiful
valleys and streams
inviting
and attracting many
drawing
them within to visit
tempting
each longer to stay
yet only
a season to know
short
maybe two months
before
the snow of death
embraces
and thus entraps
all of
those still lingering
ice and
rain and then snow
blocking
the passes used
high in
the mountains bound!
