How often at the wailing wall are found

or standing on corners of the streets

robed in finery and preaching hellfire

reclusive in their libraries writing wisdom

proclaiming each and all to the world

their prayers of intent to learn of Father;

 

Then in the same breath denying revelation

fondling their precious thoughts instead

telling the world of their sincerity of guile

unlike the child reading for bedtime kneeling

saying honest prayer knowing Father hears

while parents bustle about missing all;

 

Contradictions finding none really to listen

wanting more the sound of their voices

unlike the child speaking with Father

others just pretending in giving lip service

unyielding to the truth and or knowledge

thus proclaiming they know not Father!
