The world hurries on to
nowhere
faster and faster to
extremes
forgetting the
purpose of life
wanting more and more
endless
feeling good within
worldly pain
unable to sacrifice
for another
wishfully greedy and
lustful
living an expedited
lifestyle
with no room for the
profound
lacking the feelings
of warmth
unhearing and thus
unseeing
emptiness at the end
of day
thinking tomorrow
will change
even those who
profess beliefs
hurry through prayers
and study
allowing others to
take control
wanting an expedited
gospel
meeting their needs
only
missing all that’s
eternal
while living in the
extreme!
