Wailing
and crying all to hear
most ignoring
and avoiding
men –
women – whores both
scabs –
baldness – stinking
begging
for one to take them
just
give them a name today
take
away their reproach
by the
city gates in unison
some
unknowingly there
while in
the comfort of home
having
committed one day
to be
found outside the gates
unable
to ever gain entrance
without
repentance and change
which
most unwilling to do!
