Bed last
night a new born
awakening
to a new battle
started
Battle of the Bulge
thousands
of prisoners
wounded
and dying soldiers
seemingly
a desperate move
moving
with great speed
seeking
to destroy men
women,
children, old/young
can you
remember waking
at once
an infant then
73 years
gone remembered
sacrifices
to be made
freedom
from anarchy
one
battle at a time
each to
be won
at the
cost of lives!
