we came
to different places
varied
the times yet twins
today’s
Charlies’ Birthday
yup we
were named same
must be
after a relative
grateful
for this brother
welcomed
into our lives
sharing
identical histories
military,
education, teaching
even our
test scores same
thus it’s
Charlies’ Birthday
in
December will be mine
but
twins are twins always
eternal
and forever to be!
