Slumbering and snoring

ignoring pleas to assist

choosing instead to die

being unworthy to live

generations passed a lie

refusing to accept truth

nation after nation lost

due to unrighteousness

sleeping too long today

while the enemy destroys

your gates and lives

plague, famine, std’s

maybe your better sleep

being ignorant in death

but yet hoping you’ll awake

the land of the free

home of the once righteous

America more than a name

once embracing greatness!)
