Time and patience so
found
on night homeward
bound;
Honking and squealing
loud
as traffic on
freeways proud;
Telling all time to
now retreat
as our nation is in
defeat;
Surrendering all but
done
nothing left to be
lost or won;
Overhead in retreat
they flew
allowing all the
world to view!
