Hanging limply in the
sky above
pretending to go
unnoticed today
the sun not quite set
to darken
yet the moon fully seen
already
seemingly pleading
with earth
‘don’t blame me!’
crying out
most evil done in the
darkness
yet what is seen this
day
was white collar
crime all
done in the light
each to see
while pretending as
the moon
‘don’t blame me!’
limp to say!
