simple lies
believed over all
gathering
dark skies doubting
lightning
streaked trees dead
famine
in the lands around
without
religion and remorse
finding
idol worshiping best
whether
in money or myths
forgotten
why and caring not
dealing
in the barter of pelf
unknowing
and uncaring
simple
lies believed over all
stupidity
kneeling in the fore!
