a Whisper”

As a
child listens to the rain
telling many
stories to hear
wondering
at how they know
simply
as when we were once
they are
now finding a whisper;
Never
something all able to do
having grown
harder in years
no
longer pliable and receptive
the
Spirit not longer to linger
unless
we too finding a whisper!
