Hurricanes brewing to the east

gale warnings out on the lakes

torrential rainstorms closer by

icing and hail to the far west

distant thunder and screams

silence greater than darkness

then a still small voice calling

thus into the light going forward

having heard Father’s voice

calling me to my eternal home!
