Running half a race never enough

completing only half a day not a day

baking half the time usually undone

making excuses for failures incomplete

only in a worldly sense can one do so

for eternally and eternity is to complete

endurance to the end of the mission

fulfilling all we’ve been sent to complete

unwilling to settle for less than done

knowing what was expected when sent

therefore to endure and thus to finish

all we’ve set out to do while in mortality!
