Suspended in a timelessness

wondering why we’re here today

the unreasonableness of men

cruelty and harshness to display;

 

Unrelenting the winds/rains

suffering all too human to find

huge waves beating the shore

all this mortality thus to remind;

 

Watching as if an observer afar

uncomprehending what to do

helpless in this timelessness

striving to serve and be true!
